The Karts
We now run one of the best fleets of karts in the south west, using the top of the range Sodi 270cc RX7 karts. The 270cc engine delivers more than enough power for an indoor circuit and guarantees that you will have fun. The karts have adjustable seats and pedals to accommodate all sizes of driver and all karts are fitted with a state of the art remote safety system which can kill the engines at the push of a button. For the younger drivers we have a fleet of 120cc Cadet karts which accommodate drivers from 10yrs upwards. We also offer a new fleet of electric kids karts and specially design separate circuit. The Track
The length of the indoor track is approx. 400m with an average lap time of 45 seconds. The specially designed crash barriers give added safety to drivers and improves presentation. Spectators can see the whole circuit from the raised viewing gallery, which also houses food and drinks machines and a selection of the latest arcade games.
Safety Notice: M4 Karting is a member of the National Karting Association and so full NKA safety briefings are given to each customer, helmets, race suits and gloves are supplied. Due to NKA guidlines, under 15’s may only participate in ’Arrive & Drive/Ride’ and NOT in race events.
Arrive & Drive/Ride
These are timed 10min sessions, no minimum or maximum number of drivers required. At the end of each session drivers will recieve a printout of their lap times (except eletric karts). These sessions are subject to availablity and booking is advisable.
Formula Event
Event for groups of up to 15 drivers or riders. The event comprises of a 5min practice and 5min qualifier, followed by either 20 or 30 lap race. Minimum age 15yrs.
Double Shoot Out
An alternative to the Formula Event, 5min partice and 5min qualifier, followed by 2 x 20 lap races. Minimum age 15yrs.
Grand Prix Event
Traditional format of each driver having 5min practice session, followed by 4 heats of 4 laps, a 6 lap semi final and all top drivers go through to an 8 lap final. Minimum age 15yrs.
Le Man Endurance
Split your groups into teams and enjoy a thrilling race with pitstops and driver changes. Each team gets a practice session before the race. Minimum age 15yrs.
Two’s Up Event
Teams of 2 for a 30min race, with 10min combined practice and quailifying sessions before hand. Minimum age 15yrs.
